This table includes all fabrics suitable to be worn directly on the skin –mostly knits.
They have good moisture transport, cooling or warming effects, and can have finishings like UV-protection, odor control, or quick-dry. They are for use in sports underwear, base-layer or single-layer.

Baselayer November 2018

The fabrics available for the Winter 2020 collections range from absolutely natural to high-tech in their appearance. Wool certified with the RWS-standard is introduced for the first time. Merino is often found pure or in blends with synthetic fibers. Tencel is also quite popular. Some fabrics have added benefits such as reflective prints or thermo-regulating additives in the fibers. Sustainability by means of the use of recycled fibers or water saving technologies is also an integral part of this category.

Baselayer April 2018

The baselayer fabrics exhibit superior drying and thermal regulation characteristics. Many three-dimensional structures and meshes spread moisture quickly and ensure good body cooling. However, it is the stylish aspects that take center stage: Jacquards and prints make the materials interesting, while the merino wool and Tencel have a pleasant feel on the skin. More and more fabrics are made from recycled fibres, which makes them sustainable and some even compostable.
