3Layer April 2017

The 3layer laminates appear to be ultralight, soft and highly functional. Very fine woven backings ensure a comfortable feel; high performance membranes deliver values of up to 40K/40K with an overall weight significantly under 100g. Nevertheless, these fabrics are quite abrasion resistant, semi-elastic and often made of recycled materials and a PFC-free DWR. The 2.5-layer variant has a 3D print on the backing, while providing wearing comfort as well as rapid moisture transport.

3Layer November 2016

The biggest innovations are found in the backings for the three-layer fabrics. After the jersey backings, we now see ultra-light wovens that enable a very natural feel. Breathability is improved with top values reaching 50k with a water column (hydrostatic head) of 30k. These fabrics have a lightweight design and are soft and subdued.
