3Layer November 2016

The biggest innovations are found in the backings for the three-layer fabrics. After the jersey backings, we now see ultra-light wovens that enable a very natural feel. Breathability is improved with top values reaching 50k with a water column (hydrostatic head) of 30k. These fabrics have a lightweight design and are soft and subdued.

3Layer April 2016

The new 3-layer fabrics blur the boundary to the softshells, but remain tapeable as expected: Exhibiting top technologies and always highly functional, these extremely soft and elastic fabrics have a natural feel. Membranes are only 7 microns thin; knit backings with just 60 GG create extremely light laminates. The manufacturers also value environmental protection and provide fluorocarbon-free DWR treatments
