This year, to have our partners, many of whom are Woolmark Licensees, in one Wool Area, optimizes this connection and provides designers, product and sourcing teams easy access to a network of dedicated wool partners, products and fabrics where wool performs best; fashion, sportswear, workwear, footwear, accessories and much more. To see the latest innovations and technical advancements in wool is an opportunity to educate and inspire the supply chain and the next generation about wool’s versatility, eco-credentials and possibilities. The PERFORMANCE DAYS network of shows and exhibitors all connected via the Loop is a fantastic model that works. (Hall C4 Booth D04)
All Eyes on Wool in the Wool Forum!
Wool is currently experiencing an impressive revival, especially in the functional textile industry. Its natural properties – from temperature regulation and odor neutrality to sustainability – make it the perfect material for modern performance apparel. The decision to dedicate more space to wool at PERFORMANCE DAYS with a Wool Area and a dedicated Wool Forum highlights just how relevant and innovative this material is today.

Warm in winter, cool in summer, and 100% natural as well as fully biodegradable – wool combines many positive properties like no other fiber. At PERFORMANCE DAYS, wool has always played a significant role, as this extraordinarily comfortable fiber has unique characteristics: it can absorb water vapor internally while repelling water on its surface. Wool can absorb up to one-third of its dry weight in moisture without feeling damp. Additionally, it wicks away moisture far more efficiently than cotton, for example.
As part of the upcoming Spring Fair the Wool Area, introduced last fall, will be further expanded. Visitors will find a concentrated collection of wool manufacturers prominently located in Hall C4, along the central boulevard. For the first time, there also will be a dedicated Wool Forum. During the jury meeting held in advance of the fair, the PERFORMANCE DAYS expert jury took a critical look at new developments and innovations in the wool sector.
Exhibitor Feedback

The dedicated focus on wool at the Trend Forum is particularly important for a few reasons. It offers an opportunity to educate industry professionals about wool's unique advantages in the performance sector, emphasizing its natural, high-performance qualities. The focus on wool also draws attention to its sustainable credentials, aligning with the broader movement toward eco-friendly materials in the textile and fashion industries. A specific forum table dedicated to wool allows for the exploration of new applications, innovations, and trends that could shape the future of wool in performance and activewear.
