A dedicated Curated Biosynthetics section within the Innovation Hub, developed in collaboration with Hyosung
The concept brings together Hyosung, Future Fabrics Expo and PERFORMANCE DAYS through an integrated educational activation focused on the application and potential of novel biosynthetic fibres within the fashion industry. Through a curated display and expert panel discussion, the programme is designed to address industry knowledge gaps, encourage meaningful exchange and create valuable connections between Hyosung, brands and key industry decision-makers. Each element plays a distinct role within the overall attendee journey: the Future Fabrics Expo curated display provides the educational context, while the expert panel discussion broadens the conversation and brings these topics to a wider industry audience. Together, these touchpoints create a cohesive journey throughout the event, helping to strengthen the biosynthetics ecosystem while positioning Hyosung as an active and leading contributor to its development.

Ocean Recherche transforms marine biomass into sustainable textile materials for fashion and luxury brands. They develop SeiFibre™ and SeiYarn™, algae based textile fibres produced through an innovative wet spinning technique.
Fireweed Fabric by Gina Kexin Chen
Inspired by the traditional knowledge of China's Lisu ethnic minority, this Central Saint Martins graduate project extracts functional compounds from local medicinal plants to create eco friendly fibres with natural antibacterial properties.
