Nina Conrad has been working as a sustainability consultant in the textile and leather industry for many years, specializing in traceable and local supply chains. Her core business is the production of leather and leather goods that originate from animals from certified organic farms. She has established several leather supply chains in Switzerland, Germany and Italy and has worked as a Sustainability Manager, Product Manager and Project Lead for various smaller and larger companies in the apparel, accessories and footwear sectors. Besides she is a founding partner of the Sustainable Leather Foundation, and a co-founder of the Fibershed affiliate DACH.

This past October, we first introduced the Footwear Area at PERFORMANCE DAYS. The response from the industry has been overwhelming and we are delighted that footwear has been seamlessly integrated into the success story of our sourcing show and will be back in March 2024.

Nina Conrad
Rucky Zambrano
Rucky Zambrano is an Industrial Designer cultivated in the 80 ́s Milan’s Design environment. He shifted his career due to his passion for footwear when meeting vibram in 1992. For 13 years, Rucky and Vibram have been propelling and changing the market from performance to fashion: Merrell Chameleon, Prada Luna Rossa boat shoe sole, and the latest vibramfivefingers. Over the last 20 years he worked with different performance and fashion brands, launching new concepts for friend’s brands. Rucky is currently in charge of footwear for the Finnish children’s Outdoor brand Reima, which has won four awards so far for responsible footwear: Scandinavian Outdoor Award 2022 and 2023 + ISPO AWARD 2022 and 2023.
Claus Habbicht
In 2005, he founded his own garment consulting agency for Asian manufacturers. As a service provider, he works with active sports brands for skiing, outdoor, running, fitness, team sports, corporate fashion, and workwear brands. He is a founding member of PERFORMANCE DAYS and supports the PERFORMANCE FORUM Jury since 2009. His focus is on the processing of the materials and footwear.
