INTIMITI AUSTRALIA PTY LTD, founded in 2014 with a team of scientists from Australia, Japan, U.K. and China, is a science-driven venture dedicated to the innovation of high performance materials that help reduce footprints of human beings for a more sustainable, circular economy. In 2021, INTIMITI successfully commercialised CELYS compostable polyester fibre, first of its kind in the world. According to TUV Rheinland lab test, CELYS fibre is 95.4% compostable within 179 days under industrial composting conditions. And it has successfully obtained DIN/Seedling and BPI compostable certifications for EU and NA markets. In addition, CELYS fibre has a great combination of attributes that outperforms traditional polyester, e.g. cottony soft hand, low-pilling, natural moisture-management, etc. It provides brand-new freedom to brands and designers.
