Mehler has been founded in 1644 and is currently managed by the 12th generation of the family with a strong and successful focus on sustainability and product development. With more than 375 years of passion and tradition on woollen fabrics we offer high quality– 100% made in Germany.
As a vertical, fully integrated company, with own spinning, weaving, dying and finishing, we control the whole supply chain which ensures excellent quality and quick product development for our customers. Additionally, it allows us to upcycle pre- and post-consumer waste.
We have a great deal of expertise in the production of woollen fabrics (Loden) in a wide range of weights, blends, patterns, finishings and characteristics such as elastic or phosphorescent.
Wollen cloths are the oldest functional fabrics, using ingenuity and versatility of natural fibres. Loden is windproof, breathable, temperature regulalating, self-cleaning and environmentally friendly - without chemicals!
