Post consumer recycled fibre: Re-petitive

Re-petitive yarns are made available in raw white, dope dyed and with inherent functional features such as stretch, moisture management, anti UV, anti-microbial, anti-dust mite and biodegradability. These yarns are made from 100% recycled polymers and the textile waste contents can be curated as per the customers' requirements, starting from 10% textile waste to 50% textile waste in the overall mix. These recycled yarns are certified for OEKO-TEX, GRS and RCS as part of sustainability compliance.

Fibre innovation

PolyTexx® rPET pellets are created using our proprietary technology – S.O.F.T.™ (separation of fibre technology). 100% post consumer poly/cotton blended clothing and textiles are processed into two high value raw materials - PolyTexx® and CellTexx®. PolyTexx® rPET is used as a fibre to create fully recycled performance sportswear fabrics and garments. PolyTexx® rPET is also used to made trims and accessories 100% recycled such as buttons, zippers and clothes hangers.

To solve some of these complex circular design challenges, BlockTexx’s Design innovation team is involved in research, design, and development of next generation materials and apparel technologies. Our job is to develop trims and components for garments. Materials that are 100% recyclable and resource recovery ready. Using our PolyTexx® rPET, our manufacturing partners have developed a range of trims and components designed specifically for the textile industry. These accessories are made from 100% post-consumer recycled textiles, truly showcasing circular design in action.
