BI-OME® NTL (Natural) is a new, bio-based odour control technology which guarantees an optimal freshness and hygiene for all kinds of textiles. The active ingredient is linseed oil, which is derived from the seeds of the flax plant, one of the most sustainable plants in the world. Flax has a high CO2 absorption. It needs very little water to grow and due to the many applications for the different parts of the plant, there is little to no waste. From the seeds we can obtain linseed oil, which has a number of uses: as food additive, paint component and as an antimicrobial agent.
