Product information
Hangtag made from grasspaper which contains 40% grass fiber Graspap® instead of wood pulp. A ton of wood pulp requires about 6,000 litres of water and 5,000 kilowatt hours of energy, but for the same amount of Graspap®, you only need about two liters of water and 137 kilowatt hours. No chemicals are needed at all as a purely mechanical process is sufficient to extract the grass fibers. Compared to wood-pulp, grass fiber Graspap® saves 75% Co2 emissions. Grasspaper is recyclable with normal paper. The string and the seal are made from recycled PET and recycled plastic.
