ECO FRIENDLY: Oekotex Standard 100 and bluesign certified, it does not contain any substances hazardous to humans or the environment and complies with the strict ecological and toxicological requirements of those. Polypropylene production don´t pollute the enviroment (water, air, nor soil). As is dope-dyed there is no problem of polluting effluents. Only a small amount of water is used during the production of PP YARN (in contrary to cotton where up to 11 ths. liters of water are used to produce 1 kg). Also its production uses lower temperatures, i.e. less energy (up to 45%). No pesticides or toxic dyes are used to produce PP and it´s 100 % recyclable. Brings you economic advantages in the form of saved energy, because during its processing you use lower temperatures than with other types of yarn (up to 30% energy saving if compared with for example polyester). Due to the fact that is dope-dyed, you have no extra costs for dying (dyes, water, energy, wages, environment costs). DRY: Dry layer is built right in, next to the skin and does not absorb moisture. In effect, the dry layer acts like a “second layer of skin”, allowing moisture and vapour to exit to the ouside or another absorbent yarn through the spaces in the fabric without saturation – you stay drier longer and dry faster in the contrary to the wet and hot cotton. Thanks to the moisture management direct contact of PP fabrics with the skin leaves it dry and odourless and assures a perfect equilibrium between temperature and relative humidity even in the most extreme conditions. LIGHTNESS: It is the lightest fibre ever created; its density is lower than water, it´s 50 % lighter than cotton. RESISTENT: They holds out against abrasion, tension and tearing and may go through bad wather, sun, sweat and humidity and thanks to the fact that this yarn is dope-died, they maintain colour freshness and power even after multiple washing. PP Yarn is chemically and biologically inert towards inorganic acids and alkalies, as well as oxidants and reducers. ANTIBACTERIAL: This Polar Fleece is “friendly for the skin” once is chemically inert and can be worn even by the most sensitive people without any problem. Does not react to chemical agents produced by perspiration. Bacteria that are the base of bad smells cannot develop. ThermoRegulato: have the property to maintain the ideal temperature when in contact with the skin. Has the lowest conductivity of all the fibres and assures thermal comfort in every atmospheric condition due to its extraordinary insulating power. Added Water Repellent FCF improves all that has been said.
