Biodegradable

Biodegradable recycled PET represents a new aspect in sustainable circulation of textile, it utilize post-consumer PET and increase the decomposition of textile waste without creating harm to the soil or environment. Composed with organic additives, biodegradable PET attracts microbes penetrate and thus increasingly expand the whole decomposing process. And finally, fiber breaks down into simple CO2 and methane. As the result shows, while the complete degradation of used garment is 450 years at least, the biodegradable PET could degraded approximately 24.1% after only 264 days placed in landfill (ASTM D5511), and 7.58% after 30 days in the ocean (ASTM D6691). It helps reducing textile waste and environmental impact, making it easier for our planet to live happily ever after.
