Pure wool remains a classic all-rounder, valued for its comfort and warmth. Structured designs combining recycled polyester and wool offer dual-sided properties that enhance breathability, while seamless constructions using Nilit® bio-based nylon with recycled polyester deliver both comfort and performance. Wool blends incorporating mixed or recycled fibers bring improved functionality and sustainability to fabrics. A notable highlight is the introduction of RWS-certified high-definition wool from Europe, setting a new benchmark in quality.
3‑layer constructions with wool content offer maximum functionality, while membrane laminates in wool look provide wind- and water-repellent properties. Midlayers benefit from high breathability through wool structures, and combinations of wool fibers with recycled synthetics deliver both performance and sustainability.
The award-winning Combat Wool 3L by Takisada impresses with its innovative use of wool in high-performance applications. The outer layer features a highly abrasion-resistant face made from a Cordura wool blend, offering exceptional durability without compromising on style. The collection also includes 3-layer knits with wool and polyamide (PA) blends, as well as double-weave constructions combining wool and PA for enhanced functionality. A standout highlight is the reflective knit with a wool backing (booth no. 3), which captured the jury’s attention for its unique combination of visibility and comfort. These groundbreaking textiles redefine the possibilities for wool in technical and lifestyle apparel.
Densely woven recycled wool offers windproof properties, while innovative 2-layer double-face constructions combine polypropylene on one side and wool on the other for optimized performance. Wool-linen blends provide a natural look and exceptional wearing comfort, and Air Hybrid Wool delivers breathable constructions with wool content for a pleasant microclimate. Double-weave designs with wool add flexible temperature regulation, enhancing both functionality and comfort.
Polypropylene is making a comeback with three innovative variants that are combined with wool and recycled synthetic fibers, offering new possibilities for performance and sustainability. Wool waste is increasingly used for dyeing through Achroma-technology, while bio-based and biodegradable nylon blended with wool supports circular applications. Combinations with Cordura® create durable, robust textiles, and wool fleece sherpas add a layer of supreme comfort.
