The program also allows for blended materials, where, products may include recycled synthetic fibers alongside the certified regenerative fibers. Required Certification Level: To ensure traceability of European Flax™ materials, every step in the supply chain, from the fibre producer to the final product, including all processing and trading stages up to the last business-to-business transaction, must be certified. Through an annual assessment, Canopy assigns a “Hot Button” score reflecting each company's environmental impact and sustainability practices.

Required Certification Level: The ZQ programme focuses on certification for wool production up to the farm gate, but does not extend beyond that. ZQ Natural Fibre is sourced from a select group of accredited farms in New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa. All ZQ farms, regardless of their location, undergo regular audits to ensure they meet the same ZQ standards. These audits are carried out by an independent, third-party Certified Accreditation Body.

Required Certification Level: To achieve certification, a company must earn a minimum score of 80 out of 200 on the B Impact Assessment, which covers governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. The certification process also includes legal accountability requirements, where companies must amend their governing documents to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders.
