Product information
Oyster shell biomass +our self-synthesized waterborne PU coated as 0.45mm film of open microcellular structure, with FIR-like warming, and anti-bacterial effect. We overcame technical hurdle adding shell biomass to waterborne PU resin as it’s more difficult than solvent-based to do so. This upcycles wasted shells that would have otherwise piled up on clean lands and contaminated the lands with insect & bacterial infestation, so this reduces the shells’ negative impact on local communities and revitalizes their economies. Use: laminate with fabric for garment/apparel with functional purposes.
