This performance insulation, engineered by intimately blending 70% premium German down with 30% German merino wool, combines the best qualities of both materials and offers warmth, protection and comfort no matter what the weather. Duck down has one of the highest heat capacities among fibers, and it retains heat more than other fills. Bavarian Wool is a merino type from South Germany with a range between 25 and 28 microns. Merino Wool has long been regarded as one of the finest and softest wools with properties that lend themselves to aerobic activity and long stays in the outdoors.
