EU Legislation unfolding: From circularity and digital passport to market surveillance, an outlook for 2027

PERFORMANCE DAYS, Munich

Sustainability Stage

Wednesday 14th October 2026

13:00 - 13:30 CEST

The EU legislation is reshaping how garments shall be made, sold and disposed of over the next years. Viewed from outside the law-making progress can be complex and yet it reflects the complexity of textiles products, made in global value chains in hard economic times. Delivered by EURATEX, the official textile and apparel industry confederation based in Brussels, this intervention takes stock of progress on the major laws & acronyms (ESPR, DPP, CEA, EPR, EPA) which are reshaping the garment industry and bring circularity at companies’ C level.
