Textiles for Human Body Cooling
Human physical and mental performance is highly affected by the ability to regulate core body temperature within a narrow range around 37°C. Heat exchange between the human body and its environment occurs at the body surface and is controlled by thermoregulatory responses in the human skin. Textiles affect heat exchange and preferably support thermoregulatory efficacy. This talks particularly includes local requirements on textiles to contribute to heat dissipation and, thus, to keep body performance in challenging conditions.
