A glance at the sports industries and their products shows pictures of a man´s world. Rather homogenous collections follow more or less the ideal of high-performance challenges, loaded with sweat and adrenaline. Yet a lot of women practicing sports don´t feel attracted by this attitude – neither by the advertising campaigns nor by the products themselves. It is high time both for the industry and the retailers to discover the chances of diversity! Can we really afford to neglect these potential customers? How to improve sports products to convince fastidious customers like women?
