Restocking reality: What it takes to replenish a post-consumer recycled t-shirt

PERFORMANCE DAYS, Munich

Sustainability Workshop Table

Wednesday 14th October 2026

10:00 - 10:45 CEST

Imagine your top-selling tee just sold out. It’s as simple as a product gets: 100% polyester, standard knit, one printed logo. Restocking it should be smooth sailing. But what happens when that t-shirt relies on polyester made from old, post-consumer garments - not plastic bottles or factory scraps?

In this hands-on session, you will map out what really needs to happen and who needs to be ready to execute a fast-turn replenishment order using post-consumer recycled polyester. Working in small teams, you'll trace the practical dependencies across the supply chain, from sorting worn textiles and yarn spinning to knitting, printing, and final delivery.

Our goal is to create a clear, realistic map of where post-consumer supply chains are restock-ready today, and where the hidden bottlenecks still live. Come ready to dig into the real logistics and walk away with a crystal-clear view of what short lead times actually require.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR THIS SESSION: To ensure an interactive exchange, each workshop is limited to 12 participants. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Secure your spot by registering via the following link: Workshop Registration
