PERFORMANCE DAYS, Munich

Expert Talk Area

Thursday 29th November 2018

15:45 - 16:45 CET

Water is needed throughout textile producing processes for fibres, for coloring, but also and especially at a post-production/industry stage. It is said that 80% of a garment's footprint is decided at the design stage. But if the sustainability mantra is longevity, the most amount of water will be used whilst it is owned. There are several approaches to reducing the need to wash garments so frequently. So pre-consumer and post-production water consumption is what the panel will discuss.

Panel discussion speakers include:

Ashleigh Naysmith, the Customer Services Manager at Alpkit
