Good design is not created from a measurement chart, it exists from a pattern that is based on a perfect fit. When physical demands are being pushed to the limit, the functionality of the material can be decisively important in order to achieve maximum performance, it is also essential that the fit of the garment meets the demands of these technical challenges. The best measurement chart does not work if you cannot adapt it into a pattern. Where the essential differences lie in a pattern created from a trained pattern maker and an untrained pattern maker? An interactive analysis showing the discrepancies of developing a pattern without the use of a pattern making system, versus the benefits of developing a pattern based on a pattern making system. Founder/Head of REHBI GmbH– pattern creation for performance sportswear, technical development and personnel training.
