Alexandra holds a degree in Clothing Technology and Sustainable Management and has over 8 years of experience in the field. She has worked in research and consulting, focusing mainly on consumer behaviour and Human Rights Due Diligence. The last few years, Alexandra has worked as a CR project manager for strategy development and sustainability reporting in a multinational company. Since January 2025 she is responsible for all topics around Corporate Sustainability at the German Sporting Goods Industry Association (BSI).

Beth Jensen

Textile Exchange

Beth Jensen is Senior Director of Climate and Nature Impact at Textile Exchange, the leading global nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the use of sustainable raw materials and fibers within the fashion, apparel, and textile industry. She oversees the organization’s efforts to achieve beneficial climate and nature impacts through leadership of four key functions: impact data and Life Cycle Assessment studies; impact tools, including the Preferred Fiber and Materials Matrix and the Materials Impact Explorer; reports and research; and policy activities. Prior to Textile Exchange, Beth held leadership roles overseeing and driving sustainable materials and products programs at VF Corporation, parent company for outdoor and active brands including Vans, The North Face, Timberland, and Smartwool; and at Outdoor Industry Association, the North American-based trade association for the outdoor apparel, footwear, and gear sector. She is based in Colorado, USA, and holds a B.A. from St. Olaf College and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder Leeds School of Business.

Katy has 20 years’ experience working in the outdoor industry in a variety of roles including research, product development, and sustainability. She has a BSc in Materials Science and a PhD in Technical Textiles. She has worked with the European Outdoor Group for 8 years, and in her current role as Head of CSR and Sustainability she facilitates and encourages brands to increase industry action to bring environmental and ethical considerations to the complex challenges of the textile supply chain.
