NIBER: Electrospinning – A path to ultra breathable, PFAS-free textiles

PERFORMANCE DAYS, Munich

Breakout Stage

Tuesday 13th October 2026

16:30 - 17:00 CEST

As global regulations tighten around PFAS, the industry faces a familiar trade-off: water protection at the cost of comfort. Electrospinning promised a fix, but scaling it beyond the lab has been an industry challenge. Niber's platform addresses both: industrial-scale capability for an ultra-breathable nanofiber structure with tunable water resistance & windproofness, using TPU membranes for soft, light, stretch-capable laminates.
