Changes in the detection of PFAS in textiles following the emergence of a "new" test method are affecting apparel & textile brand's ability to comply with regulation.

Mario Stucki

dimpora

CEO l Co-Founder

Mario developed a deep connection to nature early in life, spending much of his time outdoors skiing, fishing and exploring, an experience that would later shape his professional focus.

Trained as a chemical engineer at ETH Zurich, where he completed his doctoral research, Mario began critically examining the environmental footprint of conventional waterproof membranes, including their reliance on PFAS and fossil-based materials. This work led to the invention of dimpora’s patented CoreLayer™ technology and the founding of Dimpora AG, a high-performance membrane platform designed to enable PFAS-free, solvent-free, bio-based and circular material solutions for the textile industry.
