Colin has significant experience working at a leading UK woollen mill, and managed the global Protective Textile business for over a decade before joining James Heal in 2022. Colin’s role with James Heal is to work with the brands, manufacturers, associations and educational establishments around the world to join up the supply chains and understand future trends. He sits on the BSI and ISO standards and chairs the AATCC Moisture Management Committee.

James Heal is a market leader in the design and manufacture of textile performance testing instruments  and production of certified test materials. Colin’s presentation will provide a brief introduction to the range of performance test instruments on show in the Tech Hub and Footwear Forum, and why all test instruments are not created equal.
