The presentation will inform about the possibilities of international trademark and design protection, and what the owner of IP rights can do against trademark and design infringement as well as counterfeiting. Ms Bergmann will bring all important practical aspects of IP protection and defense to the audience. Significant procedural issues in this context such as relevant respites and others will be pointed out in side notes to the respective topics.

Alexandra Bergmann specialises in litigation and counselling in the areas of trademark and competition law and other areas of intellectual property with a focus on the fashion industry. She handles cases under trademark and competition law as well as under copyright and design patent law in all German courts.
