Andy Laycock

Pertex

Brand Director

Andy Laycock is the Brand Director at Pertex, where he leads global brand and marketing initiatives and works closely with brand partners to support the communication and positioning of Pertex fabrics. With over 15 years at Pertex, Andy is responsible for shaping the brand’s market presence and strengthening partner relationships. He holds an MSc in Textiles from the University of Leeds, bringing a strong technical foundation to his work in performance fabrics.
 
Outside of work, Andy can usually be found running in the fells of Northern England, giving both a understanding of performance apparel requirements and a deep appreciation of the outdoors.

Dan Yates

EOCA Conservation

Executive Director

Travel for expedition and exploration fostered Dan’s desire for environmental action; working to preserve our last wild places, be they in the heart of the Himalayas or behind the local village.
 
Dan focuses on driving positive environmental change from those that love the outdoors, and is now Executive Director at the EOCA Conservation. Delivering global conservation and rewilding projects, and driving political action for nature on behalf of the outdoor community.
