For her latest book “H is for Hemp”, Maren has traveled 26 countries on four continents since 2016 to document the worldwide rediscovery of industrial hemp. She created an encyclopaedia drawing from more than 200 hemp projects and interviewing more than 80 industry-experts, showing hemp’s potential to mitigate the ecological crisis. Her photographs, audio and film takes, research and findings show different angles of climate impact stories ranging from big industries to individuals, who apply hemp to actively shape our greener and more sustainable future.

Maren Krings is a Climate Impact Storyteller, photographer and author of four books. Her work is published and exhibited internationally. She graduated with a B.F.A. from the Savannah College of Art & Design (USA).
