The presentation will give a short overview of the growing importance of protection, both in work environment, but also in private (hobby). It explains the specific and unique properties of UHMwPE/Dyneema® and how these can be of great benefit in protective workwear, sports-apparel, motorcycle apparel, shoes etc. Short dynamic movies will illustrate the technical features and how they are/can be applied in textiles.

Giovanni has almost 30 years of experience in textiles business as Quality & Technical Support, Product & Application Development, Business Development and Sales. He worked 10 years for Dupont/Invista supporting the Lycra® apparel business and more than 15 years active in the high performance fiber business at DSM Dyneema. Since 2021 working for Fibrant as Manager Business Development & Sustainability developing and driving a more sustainable nylon business.
