Laserwelding is a new innovative Technology for realising strong and smooth seams in garment and textile manufacturing by using optical energy. High Elastic seams can be realised almost invisible and skin friendly without any additives like glue or sewing thread. Laserwelding enables new seam properties, when paying attention on new processing specifications.

Development Engineer Technical Textiles & Industrial Fabrics

Engineering degree in textiles advanced training in microoptics and lasertechnology, perennial science working experience in a laboratory for protection and physiology. Focusing on laserwelding textiles and development of medical devices. Since 2.5 years Frederike Lehmeier is working for Leister focusing on development of new welding technologies for textiles especially laser.
