Nowadays we are facing a global sourcing market with more than, 100.000 suppliers, 350.000 producers, 5.000 agencies, 60.000 brands and 200.000 sourcing companies (private and white labels, and retailers). How do companies find the right business partner in this highly-fragmented sourcing jungle? Is it possible to overcome the complexity of local, temporal, linguistically and cultural differences? Can platforms like Linkedin and Parship be an example of a digital solution for the various requirements of the apparel business? And if yes, what is missing to enable all market players to substantially speed-up their cycle time, be on-trend and to make apparel sourcing less costly and risky?

About the orator
Jonas Wand (34) joined the founding team of FOURSOURCE as CSO at an early stage. He worked in the fashion and sportswear business for more than 13 years and contributes his know-how in sales, multi-channel management, e-commerce and marketing. The last few years, Jonas was part of the Management Team at Bogner and responsible for the Brand Fire + Ice. He holds a B.A. (Econ.) and an MBA from the University of St. Gallen. Jonas will be supported by Louise Amélie Leuchtenberger (29) who joined FOURSOURCE as Head of Marketing after several years at X-BIONIC & X-SOCKS. Louise holds a B.A. from the Universtiy of Brighton.
