Heat limits concentration and performance in sports. Scientific studies show that cooling can improve performance in sports up to 10% and also recovery is much better -  which becomes more and more a critical success factor for athletes. Most cooling apparel works with the sweat production of the user – a process which still requires energy. A different approach is active cooling by evaporative technologies which may have a higher impact. Especially in different cooling scenarios as precooling, dura-cooling as well as for recovery there are numerous scientific studies available which show the efficiency of cooling technologies in textiles for performance.
