The material blended with RWS/WOOL and Spiber's Brewed Protein is a new-generation fiber made from plant-based (sugarcane) raw materials, produced using a unique fermentation technology that employs microorganisms. By blending this raw material with WOOL, it achieves the shine of silk and the softness of cashmere. In addition to the natural moisture absorption and release properties of WOOL, the material also incorporates a 3-layer treatment, providing the added functions of "breathability and windproofness."

Our fabric is 99% bio-based. The elastane is 98% bio-based, and the polyamide is 100% biomass-sourced without competing with food crop production, placing a demand on the land, or affecting human or animal needs. Our fabric was also dyed with biological dyes. Bacteria from Nature's organisms provide the pigment that adheres to the fabric in a highly efficient dyeing process at low temperatures and without petrochemicals throughout the entire process (preparation, dying and finishing). Our fabric fulfils quality and performance demands while showcasing the latest sustainable innovations!
Outlast Technologies introduces Aersulate®
Outlast Technologies GmbH is launching Aersulate®, a new insulation solution based on aerogel technology. Originally tested by NASA, this innovation delivers exceptional thermal performance, ultra-lightweight properties, and sustainable materials. Outlast showcased Aersulate® also in March at PERFORMANCE DAYS. The response was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the great potential of this new insulation technology.

To drive further growth with innovative communication strategies, PERFORMANCE DAYS is bringing Astrid Schlüchter on board not only as a seasoned industry expert but also as a renowned specialist journalist. Before joining PERFORMANCE DAYS, the trained fashion designer led the editorial team of the print and online medium SAZsport as Editor-in-Chief and was instrumental in the development of the Sports Retail Congress. Prior to that, Schlüchter worked for a long time as a freelance writer for various media in the sports, fashion, and lifestyle segments.
