Textiles and The Skin
Textiles that come into direct contact with the skin not only strongly influence the feeling of wear but can also have an effect on the skin itself. Besides safety issues such as chemical and mechanical irritation, potential positive effects on the skin e.g. by transfer of substances, and the skin’s microflora will be discussed.
