Apparel must fulfill a variety of criteria to be successful on the market. The bandwidth reaches from wearing and climate comfort to the resistance against washing cycles and microbiological quality. To support companies in assessing and retaining these comfort relevant criteria INSIDE CLIMATE and the Application Lab Weber & Leucht jointly developed the Textile Comfort Assessment.

About the workshop organizer
INSIDE CLIMATE GmbH sets focus on the assessment of climate comfort attributes for textiles relating to an efficient and comfortable human thermoregulation activity. IC offers microclimate test services and project management as well as the SWEATOR technology to simulate the human thermoregulation on a global basis.
Weber & Leucht is an independent and accredited lab offering research and project management. With over 15 years of highly specialized experience in the analysis of textile and cleaning products and the development of innovative materials the lab today supports various textile and chemical corporations around the globe and holds a service-center in the US.
Christoph Russ is founder of INSIDE CLIMATE GmbH (IC), Holzkirchen, Germany and Co-inventor of the SWEATOR technology to simulate human thermoregulation processes in human/textile interfaces. He is active in various norm tasks on ISO level aiming to improve the visibility of the human thermoregulation being a main driver for comfort and health.
Thomas Leucht is the founder of Application Lab Weber & Leucht. The degreed engineer is an expert for compound textiles and optimized test routines. He is active in various norm committees, standardization bodies and trade associations. As the director of an accredited laboratory, Thomas is bound to impartiality, independence and integrity.
