DyStar develops digital printing inks since more than 20 years, using reactive, acid, disperse, sublimation and vat dyes from own manufacturing. The presentation will show how the requirements of specific inks in regard to the currently industrialized printheads and printers are driving ink developments and market trends. Additionally, the color management as being an important part for the final success will be explained. Furthermore, the whole process requirements in digital printing (fabric preparation, fixation and wash-off) will be presented.

About the workshop organizer
Andre has more than 30 years experience in the Textile Industry. After his education he started in the Textile industry and moved from there into the Dye and Chemical manufacturing Industry. In different roles he globally supported customers to optimize their production. Since 10 years Andre is working in digital printing at machine manufacturers, where he was head of application technology. In this role he developed new processes around digital printing and was responsible for the initial startup of new printers for customers. He rejoined DyStar in February this year.
