At what fair should I exhibit?

Everybody who is charge of marketing and events knows the situation. The company wants to present itself and its products at a fair. A budget is fixed. What comes next is the big questions: which fair is the right exhibition platform?

The choice is huge. Just to name a few in the field of sports and textiles: ISPO in Munich, OutDoor Retailer in Saltlake City, Titas in Taipei, Techtextile in Franfurt and more. Thanks to search engines and with the help of colleagues, business partners and customers answers are easily found. What seems to be forgotten sometimes is to evaluate and compare the options.

PERFORMANCE DAYS wants to help you to find the answer and therefore has collected some questions that can lead to a better decision.

  • How many exhibitors (companies not brands) have taken part in the last exhibition?
  • Which exhibitors have participated? Exhibitor list/names!
  • What kind of products do the exhibitor display?
  • How many exhibitors from the same/our country have participated?

 

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE VISITORS

  • How many visitors have visited the event?
  • Who were the visitor? Brand names?
  • What are the positions of the visitors (ceo, marketing, buyer, product manager…rough percentage)?

 

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PARTICIPATION

  • What are the minimum cost for the participation (booth, booth equipment, marketing, electricity, catering…)?
  • Are experience values on travel cost for flights and hotel per person avaiable?
  • Do you have any government partners who offer subsidiary?
  • What is the book booth deadline?

  • PERFORMANCE DAYS book booth deadline would be around 6-8 weeks before the fair, but the fair is always sold out even 5-6 month before the fair.
